Hi,
I was wondering if people have MediaMosa running with Wowza and Flash HTTP or HLS (cupertino streaming).
I found this trac issue which describes the features of the cupertino/silverlight streaming path in the streaming server setup: http://mediamosa.org/trac/ticket/389
They are talking about "{extra_folder}: that seems a hack, needed by wowza" don't know if this is still needed...
But i have problems playing Flash HTTP and Cupertino streaming (m3u8) with wowza. My example file of wowza (sample.mp4) works if i test i with this OSMF player.
http://www.osmf.org/configurator/fmp/#
So this works: http://137.56.72.176:1935/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/manifest.f4m
When i try to play mediamosa files i first tried this one with RTMP, it works:
rtmp://137.56.72.176:1935/mediamosa/99/mp4:VJlXFOPJZUqUIpEBNyi1b3Wu.mp4
But if i try to play this one, it wont work,
http://137.56.72.176:1935/mediamosa/99/mp4:VJlXFOPJZUqUIpEBNyi1b3Wu.mp4/...
Seems that Wowza want to do something with the file on the MediaMosa storage, the sample.mp4 file is locally stored on the Wowza server.
I've got a working streaming server setup with JWplayer 5.9 and Wowza 3. But i'm looking for streaming options for other devices when using JWplayer and HTML5.
I hope some people who have experience with Wowza and/or the Silverlight/Cupertino streaming in MediaMosa can help me out!
Thanks!
