Although it seems this update for MediaMosa is not very big, it does have one important improvement. MediaMosa supports play restrictions (on asset level). This prevents play access to the assets mediafiles when trying to play a mediafile during certain predefined period (set on the asset). This update now also changes the access to the asset during asset search.

We are happy to announce that version 3.1.0 is no longer a release candidate. In contrast to version 3.0.x versions, we really tried to make the install process and basic setup more failsafe. We improved the player object code definitions, as well as the example transcoding profiles. We also tried to make the setup to run versus an unpatched ffmpeg as far as possible (only multiple stills and scene detection do not work against the unpatched ffmpeg's).

Just a short message that MediaMosa 2.3.9. is released. Number of problems with migration from 2.2.7. and from 1.x have been solved. Use /update.php on your admin website to upgrade to 2.3.9. when upgrading from 2.2.x or higher.
